Is Newt Gingrich Up To The Task!!!

This comment came from Human Events and has a lot of validity IMHO!!!
Max Honeycutt 3 days ago
The Supposed “Inevitability” of Mitt Romney

Ann Coulter has written yet another deluded commentary about the inevitability of Mitt Romney winning the Republican nomination. As others have pointed out, Obama is not bill Clinton and Gingrich is no Bob Dole. And it is Gingrich who is the inevitable nominee, not Romney.

There is, after all, a very good reason that American's cannot and will not get behind Mitt Romney. Yes, it's partially because he believes that he and his people are waiting for the spaceship and that each of them will become gods ruling over their own planets. But Mitt's failure to attract support has a more mundane explanation, especially when he is viewed against fellow candidate Newt Gingrich.

Romney has never been a conservative leader. As governor of Massachusetts, he ruled over the most liberal state in the nation and did his subjects’ bidding by building the evil tower of ObamneyCare---the model for the Dark Tower and lidless eye of ObamaCare. In essence, Romney is a slightly smarter version of John Kerry, making wild claims about his "service" as a Republican soldier, claims which do not match his actual war record.

When your resume includes being the leader of an army of orcs and trolls (in the land of Mordor, no less), you can't very well claim to be a good wizard fighting against the enemies of darkness. Conservatives aren't that gullible or forgetful. Dumb as they are, even the democrats wouldn't fall for that.

As governor of Massachusetts, Romney was not just eating, drinking and sleeping with the enemy, he was their fearless leader. That tops even the enemy cheerleading of Hanoi-Jane during the Vietnam war. Boston-Mitt has about as much of a chance becoming the Republican nominee as Jane Fonda does of becoming our mascot. (How do we know he won't ask John Kerry to be his running mate?)

Ann Coulter (who seems to have lost her senses of late) talks about how the media can't wait to rip Gingrich to shreds, while supposedly being scared to death of Romney. If that were true, then why rip away at Newt NOW? Why not wait until he's the nominee, if they're not afraid of him snapping the faux Obama intellect like a twig and shattering the grand illusion of his supposedly “superior” intelligence?

Obama the intellectual featherweight and Affirmative Action graduate from Columbia and Harvard goes up against the Red Elephant. -- I can't wait!

There's a lot more reason to believe that the half-wit-media prefer Romney as Obama's opponent, as there is less contrast (other than skin color) and they know perfectly well that a Romney candidacy would alienate millions of Christians, especially when the bizarre beliefs of Mormons are blasted across the cable news networks 24/7 once Romney is the candidate and locked in their sights.

As for baggage, Obama's is much heavier than Newt's. Sure, Romney has wedged ObameyCare tightly into a carry-on by denying its true size and implications, but that carry-on seems to follow him everywhere. Besides that he's wearing funny Mormon underwear which are sure to show up once the media hit him with the X-Rays.

The key to understanding Gingrich's ascendancy now is recognizing that (a) the pre-game primary party is almost over and (b) Newt is the only candidate that has led a conservative army into battle against the democrats and forced them to surrender. And just look at what he made them surrender: their sacred Welfare cow -- their biggest treasure. And a balanced budget -- their biggest fear. Just think how much they must truly hate him!!! Generalissimo Gingrich is their worst nightmare come true.

As for the media, Newt has obviously taken a much needed lesson from his undisciplined interview performance last spring. He realizes that they're the enemy, so now he goes on the attack rather than sitting there like a fish in a barrel, or letting them coax him into waxing philosophical, as he did last spring speaking about the Ryan plan.

All Newt has to do, when he is attacked by the dim-wit-media, is calmly return fire. They are not used to people turning the tables on them and, being democrats, they are inveterate cowards who will cringe and crumble before the master orator. Every question they attempt to ambush him with can be answered by reminding them that his life is a matter of public record. Shouldn't they be asking for all of the records hidden by Pinocchio-boy? Americans really want to know how a poor student like Obama managed to get into Columbia and then Harvard with bad grades and who paid for his education.

Newt knows that the best way to confront a mediot is to ask them whether or not they are ashamed to ask such trivial, nonsensical, biased, inflammatory, imbalanced and unfair questions? If you’re a mediot, how do you answer that question? I am not ashamed? That’s what I figured…. If you weren’t so biased you would be….

Consider -- can you think of anyone in the national media that can stand toe-to-toe with Newt Gingrich? We’re talking about someone on the order of a socialist-regressive version of George Will. And such a man does not exist.

As for Obama himself, the debates will be like watching a master school a child, and a shopkeeper catching a thief. Newt should have a list of all of the things Obama has concealed at the ready along with the sound-bite (by Obama) about people who have something to hide. He can use these as a foil whenever the media tries to ambush him with his own baggage by pointing out that people already know all about him, but the media has never asked Mr. Blank-Slate Obama for so much as his college report cards. What do those report cards show that Pinocchio is so afraid of? Over 2 million dolar spent hiding his records and not a whiff of interest or curiosity by the national press corps. -- You know, as in copse-man.....

As for attracting independents, consider who independents are: primarily monied intellectuals who are essentially free-market oriented and fiscally conservative. Socially, they are more liberal, but Team Obama and his costly socialist agenda have breached the boundaries of what independents can reasonably stomach. Besides that, they've had time to listen to the teleprompter and are sick of the broken Obama record playing over and over again, like a 1930s era dance-song in a concentration camp.

Gingrich will attract independents by giving them something to think about -- their favorite pastime. Plus, independents won't be embarrassed by Newt's intellectual reach, as they well might have been by Cain's, or put to sleep by the hollow sounds echoing from the redundant and uninspiring Mitt Romney, who has had 4 years to get rid of that deer-in-the-headlights look and failed.

Finally, there is the global warming photo with Nancy Pelosi. This would normally be unforgivable except that Gingrich has recanted and has become fast friends with Sen. Inhofe, who has been the battlefield commander against AGW in the senate. Newt is smart enough to understand the difference between valid science and the Marxist pseudo-science of the left. He has apparently been brought up to speed on the subject, which is what he's essentially been admitting on national TV. Everyone makes mistakes (except Obama, of course).

Character and integrity show through when you have the moral rectitude to acknowledge your mis-steps. Liberals do not realize this and therefore can never admit they're wrong, for fear of losing their slender grip on reality and losing face, which they avoid by ass-covering. But conservatives value redemption. Liberals are obsessed with condemnation. Their attacks on Gingrich will not only fail, but will draw unwanted attention to their own wooden boy-wonder, Pinocchio, the puppet of Soros, as the public witnesses the enormity of the media's psychosis.

Rush Limbaugh Sells Herman Cain Advertising!!!

Herman Cain is using Rush Limbaugh's Radio Show to promote his 999 plan which will air in all 50 States.  This is a brilliant move and will probably spread to other venues.  I'm thinking other talk shows will also run his ad's and these 'ads' will also go viral on the internet.  Rush Limbaugh says "So you will be hearing Herman Cain commercials on the program.  He's a 50-state buy, by virtue of this program.  And when you hear that, it doesn't imply an endorsement."

Following is a sample of one of the ads on Rush's show:

9-9-9 means jobs, jobs, jobs.  I'm Herman Cain, a candidate for president, and I approved this message.  But Obama doesn't.  My 9-9-9 plan creates six million jobs.  Obama doesn't want you to know, because he doesn't want me to win.  Go to 999meansjobs.com and help me defeat Obama.  An uprising has me leading in Iowa, but I need you.  Please donate $9 or $999.  Every gift counts.  999meansjobs.com.  Paid for by Friends of Herman Cain, Inc.  Thank you.

Interesting TidBits about Sarah Palin!!!

Many persons here expressing an opinion, don’t have a clue what went on in Alaska, except what has been fed to them by the Lame Stream Media and the dumb cluck Tina Fey. I am copying and pasting an email that circulated here some time back that I kept just for occasions like this, to help inform the ignorant.

Subject: Sarah Palin This is not a joke…no matter if you like her or not

I never understood why so many people hate Sarah Palin, but I think it’s more fear than hate. The woman just makes things happen!!!
The Real Truth About Sarah Palin
Sarah Palin Democrat, Independent, or Republican….the second half of this email should make all of us very sick, send this on …..especially the second half……
READ TO THE VERY END! VERY ENLIGHTENING!! AND VERY DISTURBING!!!
By Dewie Whetsell, Alaskan Fisherman.
As posted in comments on Greta’s article referencing the MOVEON ad about Sarah Palin.
The last 45 of my 66 years I’ve spent in a commercial fishing town in Alaska . I understand Alaska politics but never understood national politics well until this last year. Here’s the breaking point: Neither side of the Palin controversy gets it. It’s not about persona, style, rhetoric, it’s about doing things. Even Palin supporters never mention the things that I’m about to mention here.
1. Democrats forget when Palin was the Darling of the Democrats, because as soon as Palin took the Governor’s office away from a fellow Republican and tough SOB, Frank Murkowski, she tore into the Republican’s “Corrupt Bastards Club” (CBC) and sent them packing. Many of them are now residing in State housing and wearing orange jump suits. The Democrats reacted by skipping around the yard, throwing confetti and singing, “la” (well, you know how they are). Name another governor in this country that has ever done anything similar.
2. Now with the CBC gone, there were fewer Alaskan politicians to protect the huge, giant oil companies here. So she constructed and enacted a new system of splitting the oil profits called “ACES.” Exxon (the biggest corporation in the world) protested and Sarah told them, “don’t let the door hit you in the stern on your way out.” They stayed, and Alaska residents went from being merely wealthy to being filthy rich. Of course, the other huge international oil companies meekly fell in line. Again, give me the name of any other governor in the country that has done anything similar.
3. The other thing she did when she walked into the governor’s office is she got the list of State requests for federal funding for projects, known as “pork.” She went through the list, took 85% of them and placed them in the “when-hell-freezes-over” stack. She let locals know that if we need something built, we’ll pay for it ourselves. Maybe she figured she could use the money she got from selling the previous governor’s jet because it was extravagant. Maybe she could use the money she saved by dismissing the governor’s cook (remarking that she could cook for her own family), giving back the State vehicle issued to her, maintaining that she already had a car, and dismissing her State provided security force (never mentioning – I imagine – that she’s packing heat herself). I’m still waiting to hear the names of those other governors.
4. Now, even with her much-ridiculed “gosh and golly” mannerism, she also managed to put together a totally new approach to getting a natural gas pipeline built which will be the biggest private construction project in the history of North America. No one else could do it although they tried. If that doesn’t impress you, then you’re trying too hard to be unimpressed while watching her do things like this while baking up a batch of brownies with her other hand.
5. For 30 years, Exxon held a lease to do exploratory drilling at a place called Point Thompson. They made excuses the entire time why they couldn’t start drilling. In truth they were holding it like an investment. No governor for 30 years could make them get started. Then, she told them she was revoking their lease and kicking them out. They protested and threatened court action. She shrugged and reminded them that she knew the way to the court house. Alaska won again.
6. President Obama wants the nation to be on 25% renewable resources for electricity by 2025. Sarah went to the legislature and submitted her plan for Alaska to be at 50% renewable by 2025. We are already at 25%. I can give you more specifics about things done, as opposed to style and persona. Everybody wants to be cool, sound cool, look cool. But that’s just a cover-up. I’m still waiting to hear from liberals the names of other governors who can match what mine has done in two and a half years. (while she was governor). I won’t be holding my breath.
By the way, she was content to return to AK after the national election and go to work, but the haters wouldn’t let her. Now these adolescent screechers are obviously not scuba divers. And no one ever told them what happens when you continually jab and pester a barracuda. Without warning, it will spin around and tear your face off. Shoulda known better.
You have just read the truth about Sarah Palin that sends the media, along with the democrat party, into a wild uncontrolled frenzy to discredit her. I guess they are only interested in skirt chasers, dishonesty, immoral people, liars, womanizers, murderers, and bitter ex-presidents’ wives.
So “You go, Girl.” I only wish the men in Washington had your guts, determination, honesty, and morals.
I rest my case. Only FOOLS listen to the biased media.
If you’ve read this far………….now, open your eyes…

Rethinking Sarah Palin For President!!!

Each time the mainstream media tries to belittle her accomplishments she seizes the opportunity to set the story straight and the demonization backfires.

By Alicia Colon

Although I have written several columns expressing my admiration for Sarah Palin, I admit I have never taken her seriously as a 2012 presidential candidate. I've always felt that her greatest asset was as a kingmaker and behind the scenes advisor. In addition I've assumed that she wasn't that interested in pursuing the job but rather enjoyed making waves in the liberal media. The more I read the continuing attacks on Palin and her family I've started wondering why the Democrats and their media lapdogs fear her so much. Even some conservative pundits have determined that she is unelectable because of her high negatives. Those negatives are actually bogus and based on lies and misinformation and there is really only one word to describe Sarah Palin - indomitable.
Bill Maher played to the lowest common denominator and insinuated that Palin was a "dumb tw**t" and his moronic audience cheered. Ari Fleischer, a former press secretary in the George W. Bush administration, said recently that he couldn't see "any way, shape or form that [Palin] can win" the White House. Naturally there was a Public Policy poll that determined that Democratic and Independent voters would vote for Charlie Sheen over Sarah Palin. The fact that there was even such a poll should indicate the vigorous campaign to minimize her credibility as a serious candidate. Who's paying for these skewered polls anyway?
The anti-Palin campaign stretches to foreign media where Canadian TV columnist John Doyle writes in the Globe and Mail that television forever killed Palin's chances to be president. He writes: "television duly destroyed the Palin authenticity. The arc of her national political career began with a defining speech at the Republican National Convention in September, 2008, and ended in November, 2010, a few episodes into Sarah Palin's Alaska. The show, a cringingly inevitable reality-TV series, gave her a huge platform and she blew it. If her exposure on TV in 2008 brought out the authenticity, the show brought out Palin's inner princess. She talked about being a mom 87 times an episode (I'm exaggerating, but only a little) and made dubious attempts to make political parables linking her family, the outdoors and wildlife. It was ego unbounded. And this after quitting her job as governor of Alaska."
Why on earth American voters should listen to Doyle who has been an outright critic of all things conservative is beyond me but then again why does anybody watch The View? What he gets completely wrong is the impact of Sarah Palin's reality show. It probably did more to promote tourism in her state than all the previous travelogues. It was also clear from the TV show how much Ms. Palin loves Alaska which is the real reason she quit as governor. If Mr. Doyle had done any research he would have learned that staying in office while she was being pursued by unending bogus lawsuits and vicious media attacks made her duties as governor near impossible.
I didn't watch the entire Palin series but the ones I did watch left me with the impression that Sarah Palin represented the American woman we rarely get to see in the media-strong, independent and proud to be a mother. Mr. Doyle found this last image so offensive, he had to mock it because what mainstream media anchorwoman touts that familial connection? Fox News on the other hand has its anchorwomen proudly blooming on air throughout their pregnancies and not hiding their womanhood.
I also came away with a wishful thought about how wonderful it would be for our country to be represented by such a strong, vibrant woman who clearly loves this nation. I felt the same as a teenager when John F. Kennedy emerged as a presidential candidate and the nation was overwhelmed by his youth, charisma and beautiful family. We knew very little then about Kennedy's negatives and if the Internet had been around in 1960, it's doubtful he would have been elected. Conversely, we know everything about Sarah Palin and despite the distortion and lies about her character, what we see is what we get and frankly that honesty is what we need right now.
Each time the mainstream media tries to belittle her accomplishments she seizes the opportunity to set the story straight and the demonization backfires. The New York Times published an article attempting to denigrate her record involving Alaska's Clear and Equitable Share (ACES) which allows residents to share in oil revenue. Palin wrote a rebuttal on Facebook called, "NYT-There You Go Again.":
"Most importantly, Alaska enjoys a $12 billion surplus thanks to ACES and the sound fiscal policies of my administration. I put billions of dollars aside in savings accounts (though I could have easily spent those billions and made a lot of friends with big-spending legislators on both sides of the aisle), and I continued to veto excess spending and Obama stimulus funds, and chopped earmarks by 86% - much to the chagrin of liberal legislators who were used as "sources" in the article. It's kind of amusing to see state legislators claim credit for the surplus when they didn't vote for ACES, and they cried to high heaven when I vetoed their wasteful spending on their special interest projects."
The liberal media is also not reporting the success of her trips to our allies India and Israel because our president himself would not fare well in comparison. His last overseas trip is regarded as a colossal failure and more of a distraction from the serious global events like the imploding Mideast and the looming nuclear disaster in Japan. Obama effigies are being stomped on and beaten by Sri Lankan Muslims over the bombings in Libya. The question inevitable arises - what would a President Palin do? Better?
Barack Obama was never fully grilled on his ability to govern because he had no real executive experience and frankly the media didn't wish to expose his shortcomings.
Sarah Palin does have that experience as governor and we can gage from that what her priorities would be as president. Her record shows that she would not be burdening the American people with a multi-trillion dollar budget that would bankrupt the country. Her recent interview with Greta Van Susteren proved her to be a realistic and sympathetic observer of the difficulty Israel faces on a daily basis. Unlike our president who leans more towards the UN condemnation of that harried nation, Palin asked the question Israelis have been asking for decades: "Why is it that in the past, too often, the U.S. government has told Israel that they're the ones, the Jewish community, that they need to back up, they need to back off or there will never be peace? They need to keep conceding? Why aren't we putting our foot down with the other side and telling the Palestinians, if you're serious about peace, quit the shellacking and the shelling, quit the bombing of innocent Israelis. Look at the young Israeli family that was slaughtered in their house a week or two ago. Look at today, the bombing of those innocents at a bus station in Jerusalem."
This is not a dumb woman. This is an extremely competent and courageous woman whom I'd vote for in a nanosecond as my Commander-in-Chief. Dream ticket-Palin/Rubio.
The more the media attacks her, the more we get to hear her intelligent and self-assured responses debunking them all - and all without a teleprompter. No wonder they hate her.
